Game of the World (gameoftheworld.sbs) is operated by Cosmo Fame Limited. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you browse the site, create a manager account, draft fantasy lineups, or contact support, and how that information is used to run the platform.
We collect only what is needed to operate fantasy leagues, keep accounts secure, and answer support requests:
Personal data is used to create and maintain your manager profile, calculate live fantasy points from match telemetry, display rankings, remember language and cookie choices, send service notices (for example lineup lock reminders), and investigate abuse of the rules. We do not sell user lists and we do not use account data to place real-money bets.
We process data to perform the service you request (running your fantasy account), to meet legitimate operational needs such as security and fraud prevention, and, where required, on the basis of your consent — for example analytics cookies after you choose “Accept All” on the cookie banner. You may withdraw optional consent at any time without losing access to essential features of the site.
The site stores a language preference (gotw_lang) and a cookie-consent flag (gotw_cookie_consent) in your browser. These values keep the interface in English or Polish and record whether you accepted analytics. A full list of cookie categories is published in the Cookie Policy.
Squad selections, captain multipliers, virtual salary-cap spend, and weekly scores are stored so that leaderboards stay consistent across devices. Public ranking tables may show your display name and points. They do not show your email address or password.
We may share limited data with hosting, email delivery, and telemetry providers who process it only on our instructions. Match statistics used for scoring come from licensed data feeds; those providers receive aggregated event data, not your private account credentials. We do not share personal data with official leagues such as Ekstraklasa or PlusLiga for marketing.
Cosmo Fame Limited is registered in Hong Kong. If you access the platform from Poland or another country, your information may be stored or processed outside your home jurisdiction. We apply contractual and technical safeguards so that the same access controls apply regardless of where the servers are located.
Account records are kept for as long as the profile remains open. After you request deletion, we remove or anonymise personal identifiers within 30 days, except where a shorter or longer period is required to resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, or meet a legal obligation. Support tickets are retained for up to 24 months.
Connections to gameoftheworld.sbs use encrypted transport. Passwords are stored as hashes, not in plain text. Access to production systems is limited to authorised operators of Cosmo Fame Limited. No method of transmission is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach that affects your account, we will notify you at the email address on file.
Subject to applicable law, you may request a copy of the personal data we hold, ask us to correct inaccurate details, restrict or object to certain processing, or delete your account. Send the request from the email address linked to the profile so we can verify that you are the account holder.
Game of the World is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If a parent or guardian believes a minor has created an account, contact us and we will close the profile and delete associated personal data.
We may update this Privacy Policy when features, hosting arrangements, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of the page will be revised when that happens.
